Which is better? Thumb (fingers) or pacifier?

There are pros and cons to both. Paci - it is easier to break the habbit / sucks when you realize you left it at the house, or it falls on the ground with no where to clean it. Thumb - harder to break the habbit / plus side, it is always there!! My pediatrician hates paci's and insists that babies should find their thumb, fingers. Tell who ever is in your face about it that this is YOUR child and you will raise her the way you see fit.
