The Dark Knight is a film we would recommend to anyone because of the _________ performance by Heath Ledger as the joker. The joker was the villain of the film; he was untouchable and difficult to capture. His main goal was to take over the city using violence if that's what it took. The Joker tells all of Gotham that if the Batman doesn't unmask and turn himself in he will kill innocent people every day.Hiring a man to kidnap a police officer and taking his uniform to kill the mayor by shooting him from across a building was another of his clever ways of terrifying the town people. In another scene he walks out of a hospital dressed in a nurse outfit nonchalant and blows the whole thing up with a detonator. At the beginning of the movie he makes a pencil disappear by smashing it into someones eye, uming its a magic trick. Using sarcasm was his way of revealing his carelessness and fearless character. The joker had a dynamic impact on the film because he kept the movie interesting and worth watching.
