How long is hamburger good if left in fridge for 12 hours (while the fridge was off)?

Our son turned off our fridge last night before bed (10:30pm) and we didn't realize it till around 11:00 the next morning.. Things in our freezer had already started to thaw out and popsicles were melted.... Things in our fridge were definitely not as cold but they were just starting to warm up.... I had 2 lbs of hamburger in there and am wondering if I should just throw it away or if it would be okay. I didn't check it after my husband turned it back on?? Just wondering if it would still be safe to cook it.. or if I shouldn't.
