How do I sell my 1952 clic car without a title?

I have a 1952 Plymouth. The car's previous owner (who has since died) sold it to my father who gave it to me when I was 15, then my father died three years later. This was ten years ago, and I can no longer find the title (if I ever had it in the first place). I would like to sell the car, but would I have to sell it as scrap since there is no title? It's in good body/paint shape, and still mechanically pretty sound, so selling it for scrap would seem like such a waste, but without a title it's doomed to sit in the garage which is a waste as well. Oh, and it's in South Carolina. Any advice?
