Did the Raiders get their bad-boy, tough-guy image when the team moved to Los Angeles? is that how they got?

that reputation for their fans being a bunch of Thugs, Gang Members, having very rowdy fans? fans who will start fights and beat up other people wearing opposing teams jerseys? Have Raiders fans always been this way or did it become that way when the team moved to L.A.? and it followed them back when the Raiders moved back to Oakland in 1995.
